Say what?!

Chief,

you know I know you actually work on the sly for the President, so I have to tell you should warn him about this:

"Dear American citizens,

It has come to my attention that your President has tried to reassure you regarding the impending debt limit problem, by claiming that your current difficulties are not as serious as those of Greece or Portugal. That may be the case, although the veracity of the statement may depend on the definition of “serious”.

However, it may interest you to know that when the crisis blew up in Greece and people in Portugal started to worry it could spread here, our (then) prime minister, Mr Sócrates, said rather self-righteously that, and I quote, «Portugal is not Greece!»

I believe therefore that you should beware of the also self-righteous «We’re not Greece. We’re not Portugal.» which President Obama has recently uttered. It’s not a good sign, I tell you…"

The thing is, Chief, he's right! It all starts this self-assured way and then everything ends up down the drain! You take care....

All my best to the mrs. ;)

we would not fail the American people and the world CANNOT AFFORD for us to fail, if we went on to default the entire worlds economy would have collapse, so sorry reference was made to countries that banks would not make loans to, digging one’s self our an economic rut at is many "want to be emerging economies" will now have a greater and more painful recovery, i.e. look at yesterdays market reports.

You will never fail, neither the american people, nor the world.
We both know that.

Now, you've got to get out of that mess, as we do to!
